Job Description
Your daily tasks:
Design and implementation of gameplay mechanics in Techland's newest games, in particular:
Develop and Implement AI Systems: Design, program, and refine AI behaviors and systems using Unreal Engine 5, including the creation of Behavior Trees, AI Controllers, and custom logic in C++ and Blueprints.
Development of an already existing code base.
Creating systems and tools for other people on the team.
Co–operation with artists and designers.
Code optimization and debugging.
Qualifications
Experience with Unreal Engine 4/5. Proven experience in developing games. Familiarity with its tools, workflows, and Blueprints.
Very good knowledge of C++.
Very good knowledge of Blueprints.
Experience in developing, implementing and maintaining AI systems and animation systems, including Behavior Trees, AI Controllers, Navigation Meshes and Animation Blueprints.
Experience with optimizing game performance and debugging.
Understanding of vectors, matrices, and physics simulations.
Familiarity with version control systems.
Cross-platform experience.
Authentic passion for games as well as knowledge of the latest titles and trends, especially in FPP games.
Understanding of rules and problems connected with playability in FPP games.
Very good organization and time management skills.
Very good interpersonal and communication skills.
Very good command of English.
Nice to have:
Strong math skills.
Experience in multiplayer programming
