Job Description

The Treasury Specialist will play a critical role in managing the company's cash flow,
liquidity, and financial risks. This position is responsible for daily treasury operations,
including cash positioning, bank account management, wire transfers, and supporting
various treasury initiatives.

Your daily tasks:

Cash Management:

  • Monitor and manage daily cash positions across multiple bank accounts to ensure optimal liquidity.
  • Prepare and execute cash forecasts, analyzing variances and identifying trends.
  • Initiate electronic payments (wires) and ensure proper authorization and timely execution.
  • Reconcile bank accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Manage bank guarantees.
  • Manage deposits.

Bank Relationship Management Support:

  • Managing relationships with banking partners, including opening and closing accounts, updating authorized signers, and resolving service issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of bank accounts, services, and related documentation.

Accounting:

  • Allocation of payments to open AP in ERP system.

Reporting & Analysis:

  • Assist in month-end closing activities related to treasury, prepare treasury report for shareholders.
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support strategic treasury decisions.
  • Calculate interest on intercompany loans.
  • Analyse FX trends.

Compliance & Controls:

  • Ensure compliance with internal treasury policies and procedures, as well as external regulations.
  • Participate in internal and external audit requests related to treasury activities.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and internal controls within treasury operations.

Other Duties:

  • Participate in maintaining and developing treasury polices.
  • Support treasury projects and initiatives as assigned.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization.
  • Collaborate effectively with accounting, finance, and other departments.
  • Assist in implementation of new ERP from treasury perspective.

Qualifications

Education:

  • At least bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

Experience:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a treasury, finance, or accounting role, preferably within a corporate treasury department or financial institution.
  • Familiarity with banking systems, payment platforms.
  • Experience with cash forecasting and reconciliation is preferred.

● Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Advanced in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of integrity and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Continuous improvement mindset;
  • Experience with ERP systems.
