Job Description

Your daily tasks:

  • Analyze and optimize rendering performance. Optimize materials and draw calls.
  • Tweak parameters across different subsystems.
  • Create and manage materials throughout the project. Develop master materials. Ensure consistency and order in materials.
  • Create post-processes.
  • Assist the art team in creating optimized assets. Develop asset guidelines.
  • Create various types of visual effects.
  • Collaborate with programmers.

Qualifications

You meet our expectations if you have:

  • Strong proficiency in Unreal Engine 5 (UE5) focusing on rendering subsystems from a user perspective (materials, Lumen, Nanite, shadows, lighting, Niagara, landscape, etc.).
  • Experience working on console performance analysis.
  • Ability to create optimized materials.
  • General knowledge of rendering.
  • Basic scripting skills in Blueprints.

Nice to Have:

  • Ability to write shaders in UE.
  • Familiarity with C++ enough to read code.
